Carter McCaw has never been one to be fitted into a box. Since starting his path into music in 2019, he proves to defy any label and moulds his own unique sound, Inspired from range of various artists from Bjork, Fiona Apple & Florence + The Machine to the great composers of Beethoven, Liszt & Chopin.
Alongside his uniquely crafted songs woven with poetical lines, he invests much time in reviving the world of classical music. With over 150 penned compositions for piano, strings and orchestra, he proves well-versed in the classical side. In August 2026, he recorded the Opus Collection which showcases some of his classical compositions, heavily influenced by the great composers from the 19th to the 20th century.
Carter isn't one to shy away from the view of the current political climate either. His first release, Blackbird (EP), saw him examining today's state of the world and continues to in his sequel record Blackbird II. Many of his songs weave his original sound designs with introspective, realism verses that reflect upon humanity, highlighting its flaws and potentials.
